It is set in a different universe from the main canon, including the story, characters, relations, and locations. Shattered Memories is a stand-alone reimagining of the original Silent Hill video game. In April 2014, it appeared on the PlayStation Network in Europe. The game was released in Japan on March 25th, 2010. In PAL countries, excluding Australia which was delayed a few months, all versions were released on March 4th, 2010. The Nintendo Wii version was released December 8th, 2009 in North America, and the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable versions were released on January 19th, 2010. The game was developed by Climax Studios and published by Konami.
